- Account information: your nickname and password (stored securely by our authentication provider). We do not collect your real email address. Your nickname is used to log in, so please choose one you don't mind being unique to your account.
- Profile content: profile photo, bio, and information about pets you register
- User content: photos, captions, questions, answers, and chat messages you post
- Usage data: app interactions used to measure installs, registrations, and purchases, via Adjust
- Device information: push notification token, for delivering notifications
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the Service, display your content to other users as intended, send you notifications you have enabled, process video call ticket purchases, and improve the Service.
3. What We Do Not Do
We do not display your online status or last active time to other users. We do not collect precise location data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your usage data to identify you individually for advertising purposes.
4. Sharing of Information
Your profile and posted content are visible to other users of the Service as part of its normal operation. We may share information with service providers who help us operate Petira (such as our cloud hosting, video call, and analytics providers), who are bound to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, posts, questions, answers, and chat history, except where retention is required for legal or safety purposes (for example, records related to reports of abuse).
6. Your Choices
You can edit or delete your profile and posted content, control which notifications you receive, block other users, and delete your account at any time from Settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Petira is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated effective date.
